I finished the rough cut in the hood at 10pm last night. I just need to back with a grinder and clean up the hole a bit. Then I should be able to properly mount it, my plan to panel-bond it to the bottom and then seam seal the top should work out fine but if not I guess you guys are gonna see me slap some fiberglass filler on this thing.
The scoop itself is actually
very nice quality, practically
no casting marks left in it and no scratches
or scrapes from shipping. Speedway did a really good job with it.

Are you going to paint it in that jaguar green color? Or some other contrasting color or leave it white? Really dig the style and the DIY attitude, I hope you dont find out at high speed that it isn’t mounted strong enough!
